Overview
Kwame Kirkpatrick was once the 68th mayor of Detroit, from January 1, 2002 to September 18th, 2008. Kwame was facing numberous scandals and corruption charges that forced his resignation. He officially resigned after he was formally charged with 10 felony counts. He accepted a reduced prision sentence of 4 months for reduced charges. Part of his sentenceing was his disbarment from practicing law.
